Carolyn Hof Carpenter
Theta Tau Chapter, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation President
Former National President

Carolyn was elected President of the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation in 2018, after serving on National Council as National President from 2014 to 2018 and Vice President Alumnae II from 2012 to 2014. She also served five years as District President.

Under Carolyn’s leadership, the Foundation successfully completed a fundraising campaign for the Historical & Education Center, introduced lifetime giving societies and revamped the Foundation’s popular Valentine’s fundraiser. The Foundation also launched its first Day of Giving on Founders’ Day 2020 with great success and then exceeded the total amount raised on Day of Giving 2021 and 2022.

As a member of the Austin, TX Alumnae Chapter, Carolyn held the offices of President, Vice President/Membership, Secretary, and Panhellenic Delegate, a role she also held in the San Diego Alumnae Chapter. Carolyn was the inaugural chair of Austin’s Celebration of Life luncheon recognizing breast cancer survivors. She received the Austin Alumnae Panhellenic Woman of the Year award in 2007. For her service to the Fraternity, ZTA recognized Carolyn with the Certificate of Merit and Honor Ring.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in journalism from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked professionally for 10 years as an executive in medical marketing and physician relations.

Carolyn is an active volunteer in the Austin community where she lives with her husband, Callan. They have two children--a son, Cole, and a daughter, Grace, who is an alumna of Delta Psi Chapter at Samford University.

Kery Reinkemyer Webb

Eta Iota Chapter, Valdosta State University

Vice President Alumnae I

Kery was elected Vice President Alumnae I during the Fraternity’s virtual Convention in 2020. Her longtime service to ZTA and unique life experience have given her the perfect heart to serve on National Council with compassion.

She served as District President VII-Alpha from 2009 to 2015 and National Ritual Committee Chairman from 2015 to 2020. She has held multiple offices in the Athens, Georgia Alumnae Chapter and served as an advisor to Gamma Pi Chapter (University of Georgia) for 12 years, receiving the Outstanding Advisor Award for Area II at Convention 2018. She received the Certificate of Merit in 2011 and her Honor Ring 2012.

For 18 years, Kery’s primary role was mother and caretaker for her late son, Michael. Since her election to National Council, she and her family have encouraged their friends to be #MaryStrong in support of her daughter’s fight against cancer. Her family’s compassion and grace have touched her ZTA sisters.

Kery is an active volunteer for organizations that provide accessible activities for disabled young people. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State and lives in Athens, Georgia, with her husband, Whitney, and their children, William and Mary.
